Digger diving, tree sitting, tunnel digging, food growing, primitivist crusties. Kind of sums up many perceptions of green anarchists, but are they true?

This month’s talk/discussion will give you the chance to learn about the thoughts and methods of green anarchism directly. Our guest speaker has experiences ranging from the early days of food growing and self sufficiency, through to roads protests, anti nuclear action, hunt sabbing, squatting, and tree sitting, as well as organising community woodlands while both learning and passing on crafts and skills. They have been through youthful optimism, degenerating scenes, burn out, and all the way back to spreading the word of humans thriving sustainably.

Come along and be part of the discussion.

In addition we will also have a stall from the Radial Independent Bookfair project at this event, so if you would like anything specific to be brought along to buy then let them know!

Glasgow AF discussion group is open and free to all, however any donations towards costs are appreciated. Tea/coffee/juice/biscuits will be provided free of charge. Our venue is accessible to wheelchairs/powerchairs. We ask that all those attending this event read the first page of our safer spaces policy here:
