For the Next Few Weeks…

We have two events coming up, this coming Tuesday & the next. Firstly, our monthly Organisational Meeting, and secondly, a short talk and discussion on ‘International Anarchism’: Reporting Back from the St-Imier Anarchist Gathering.

This Tuesday we will be holding one of our regular meetings to organise for new and ongoing local activities. These meetings are open to anyone who agrees with the Anarchist Federation’s Aims & Principles (which are available to view here –http://afed.org.uk/organisation/aims-and-principles.html); if you are in agreement with these, and you’d like to get involved, drop us a line.

The Meeting will be held at the Kinning Park Complex (43 Cornwall St., Glasgow, G41 1BA), at 7pm.

The week Following, on Tuesday 21st August, we will also be holding a short talk (with discussion to follow) feeding-back from the St-Imier International Anarchist Gathering in Switzerland (as discussed in the last blog-post, from earlier in the week). This will be held in the Electron Club, 1st Floor of the CCA, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, at 7pm.

This is part of a series of monthly discussions run by the Glasgow group of the Anarchist Federation, but open to everyone. The goal of these discussions is self-education and provoking thought. Abusive or rude behaviour, including interrupting others, will not be tolerated.

  2. You are a little far away for me to attend but I am very interested in the topic of self education. This topic is important not just for Anarchists, but those seeking to succeed even within the existing system.
